How can they change the decisons from initial shut down to reopen and back to shut down for further testing and to final shut down even when all the test are within their own guidelines? what are they saying about their character, even as a person, far more to say a elected regulator given power to use responsibly?"

Perhaps the government is using Cougar as a scapegoat, providing a smokescreen. By shutting down Cougar they are pretending that they care about the environment by not tolerate alleged polluters, while the real polluters are given the green light....the general public have been conned into thinking the government is acting in their best interest....in their eyes CSG must be ok as the gov didn't shut them down, and the gov seems to be fair dinkum by shutting down Cougar.....I wonder how many of the pollies and their friends are loaded up on CSG???
