With the sudden departure of Aqua from the morning crew. The need was felt for somebody else to step up to the MIPS bashings plate. It would be my honour to somewhat contribute to the FAR pre-trade show.
What an extraordinary week it has been. Plenty of action from the company, and even more from the FAR HC battlefield.
Firstly to the battlefront.
1.Boxing- MIPS TKO over Aqua, sends him packing, then shortly after, retires himself.
2.Out of Nowhere- With only one post in the last 5 months, MMM struts on to the scene, correctly calls the CR details well in advance, then in the know Phillip continues to add more details.
3.Dad- Legendary Rig Man JP becomes a first time father, congrats from all. JP continues to educate us all from the unknown world. Life on a drill ship.
4.Star Player- The overly oily educated Ya is not just a part time contributor now, but a holder!! It's like having the best quarterback in the league, leading us to the Super Bowl, what a privilege. By the time this journey is completed, we will all be one step closer to a BSC in geophysics
5.Mascot- OOO is back to producing some of his finest enthusiasm. I picture on the sidelines a M&M with OOO embezzled on the front revving up the team as we make our way to the finals.
6.Living The Dream- Dream Tony Dream was out on a mission last week trying to break a HC thread start record, he must have come mighty close. Tony's famous phrase " FAR are so undervalued" will have me walking beside him down the yellow brick road to a value of $5 next year. Excitable Tony, no Viagra required here.
Quarter Time Show
7.Infestation- Still on the light side considering our ever growing popularity on the most discussed list. Rolling continues to loiter, a very brief stint from the Coconut(ADHT boy), and a couple of other jackasses, A Wise Chief Eyed Wolf or something to that affect.
8.Most Discussed- Over the next twelve months FAR are going to reign supreme on the most discussed list. We are going to see a lot of posters come and go, some very ridiculous comments, the ignore button will be heading to meltdown, but at the end of the day, it's all good fun.
9. Don't Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch- It's hard not to, if all goes well here it may be life changing. Retirees will be globetrotting, some will retire, others will be buying that house, maybe that car. The Doc more hemp.
Half Time Show
Now to the company and what a week it has been.
1. Setting Sail- Ocean Rig Athena finally departs Luanda Port, in the early hours of last Sunday morning. With captain OFL asleep at the wheel, It was left to Dodds and Hot to make the important call simultaneously. As of today the drill rig is not far from Senegal waters , to begin our much anticipated dream journey.
2.Capital Raising- After dodging the bullet for quite some time, it finally hit it's target. Some in Relief, others in dismay. One future worry out of the way I say, now the show can well and truly begin, and in comfort. Further more one less issue to hold the SP down. Now we're sitting in the first class section of the FAR train.
3. Presentation- Much of the same, but it's like a really good book, reading it over and over again, like it's been read for the very first time.
4. World News- Plenty of attention will be focused on our little company in the coming months, lets hope it's for all the right reasons.
Three Quarter Time Show
Summary
Some have waited up to ten years, others twelve months or less. This is the week we have all been waiting for. From the superb knowledge to the lesser opinions this FAR chat site is going to really start hitting top gear. Over the next twelve months there will be constant anticipation, sweat, nerves, and hopefully undeniable excitement. Lets bring home the OIL!!!!
