Just had a quick squiz at the NSW ambo web site. "about us" to try and figure what sort consumption rates and also the exposure of the product on word of mouth..
1.1M call outs per year.
1 call out every 27.8 seconds.
Lets say two people each have 3 pumps before attending a patient and also a pump or three after the patient has been tended. 12 pumps almost every call out which occurs every 27.8 seconds.. About 1 pump per 2 seconds.... Add that to the ambo take home packs and the few that get used in the stations, first aid courses, spillage and lost elsewhere etc.. We're probably getting closer to 1 pump per second... If one pump is 1/2ml to 1ml you can figure out consumption rates.. Lol.. A 50ml bottle in less than a minute. Now just need to figure out how much profit is in a pump. :)
Word of mouth 1.1M callouts plus emergency staff.. Not bad if there is a 25% consumer interest on those figures and related industry contact also.. And not to mention new branding amendments that might be considered for normal retail advertising.. " Choice hand sanitizer of NSW ambulance service" with their coat of arms on in. Pretty comforting to know that the stuff you have in your bathroom is the same stuff that is in Ambulances. Perhaps by the end of the year, in all ambulances across Australia, In Hospitals and would no doubt be infiltrating hotel bathrooms etc. Oh well, thats one direction this ship could go.. And then not to mention the MetaM whammy that should be on the cards for an extra dollop of cream.
