This is old news from Met these initiatives are months away, it’s been discussed but Met loves to bring it up like a deal is around the corner.

Now what comes first, the chicken or the egg, the equity partner or the government deal?

Can you go to and equity partner and say total cost is 1.8 million, we have government and bank funding up to 1.2 million, all we need from you is 600 million, sign here. Sounds realistic.

However if you don’t have that government funding as the fund isn’t set up yet, for a few months…. You can’t really go to your equity partner, you can’t say look, we need 1.8 million and while we don’t have it yet, we believe we will get 1.2 million in other funding, so please sign here for 600 million and when we get the rest we will start the project……..

If we’re reliant on a government fund that won’t be set up for two months then taking submissions we’re many months away from a deal, 4-6 month at best
