What is it, some tune dragged up from the 40's or 50's that used to be sung by a yank or pom heartthrob (Bing Crosby maybe)?
I guess pinching a foreign pop song from the war days for a footy song sort of makes sense for those clubs based in old Melbourne suburbs but why would a new team from the Gold Coast bother? Surely they can think of another reason for group hugs...
At least the pommy soccer fans use stuff from the 60's and 70's.
