take a drive up to maleny. There is a nice lookout & rainforest walk , also walks to Gardners falls , kondalilla falls & baxters falls. Baxters is easy for the little munchers to manage. drive into montville for a look also. there are a few micro breweries on the coast, ive only been to one called Your Mates Brewery, its at warana , a 15min drive from caloundra , good beer & tucker in there. take the walk from bulcock beach around to kings beach , and grab a beer or lunch at the surfclub, its called Mets - the metropolitan surf life saving club...it is literally on the rockpools and in this weather will be outstanding. enjoy.
