Interesting to see the comparative location of the next 2 SHG...

Interesting to see the comparative location of the next 2 SHG wells announced just now. Wells 41 and 42 are in the western part of the permit adjacent to the prospective 3rd (optional) BOW well. I guess that a favourable result from the SHG well 42 may allow BOW to avoid drilling the third well but still proceed to reserve certification.

But I was just looking again at the scale on the latest BOW announcement, the well 42 could be as much as 5kms away from the optional 3rd well. That seems a long way and makes me wonder why it is optional. I would rather they completed the third well. The spread of all three wells will go a long way to proving their modelled view of the Walloon fairway over the whole area of about 900sqkms despite it being only 463sqkms in the initial area. (SHG total area 600sqkms)...BOW owns 45% interest.
