    Indeed the British system was designed to cater for a 'gentleman' to ride in a horse carriage from the outer Scottish highlands, to attend the House of Lords, in London, on behalf of his title, and to express his needs & vainly the altruistic needs of those that resided within his land holding. So too, was there a need to form governable yet distributed States in Australia.

    I can now talk to someone in Iceland (the other side of the earth) instantaneously.

    It is clearly outdated management.
