Hi all
perhaps not quite relevant, but I have been on two (2) lots of antibiotics recently, only finished last lot 10 days ago or so. I have found that my taste buds had initially gone totally AWOL - now they are slowly recovering and I seem to be able to taste everything so much more intensely.
Foods are saltier or sweeter - wines, which I didn't think were half bad before, are now gross etc.
I am wondering whether my taste buds have somehow returned to a natural state, also owing to the fact that I only ate when I was hungry and only minimally whilst sick?
I am going to try and keep listening to what they tell me - and go easy on both salt and sugars.
