Thanks Themcrazy, that was the other way around it - contribute enough to make the fee digestible (and, as you say, get the co-contribution from the govt). I was looking at RSAs as well (Retirement Savings Accounts). It isn't clear that they are just for the pension phase, but I think they are.
No, I mean retail fund, but industry funds will be a bit better, but at low levels of contribution still suffer from way excessive fees (ie, they still have a minimum annual fee, rather than a % based fee). I will check all out, though.
