super funds getting smashed, page-2

i cannot understand it. after all, companies like amp, pay the people, who manage their money, big dollars. i am a small insignificant person, yet i have had a stellar year. then again, i was very heavily into gold. i studied accounting/ economics at university, and all of my internet reading, had me convinced that the US$ was going to fall, along with the US stockmarket. i cannot understand why these money managers got it so wrong. but then again, a lot of fees are based on the volume of money invested, and not linked to performance
