"what is this 'safety' you are referring to?"

Netwealth has become quite a big player in the wealth management field. At the time of my joining I did quite a bit of research into who is "behind" them. My research led to to real confidence not only in the strength of Netwealth, but also in the safety of their structure.

They as trustees are governed by strict rules regarding the use of our investment funds. Share ownership is pretty secure, and ultimately I was quite confident to park my super there.

"Netwealth "didn't miss a beat ...please explain?"
My point here was that 2008/9 was an horrific period for financial management companies. Funds dried up, and if any company had any flaw in their structure, they were pummled - with many going under!! Netwealth didnt miss a beat ....

And my reference to the Money M/ment article was purely to show that during and post-GFC, investor money kept pouring into Netwealth, while many others suffered a downturn ... obviously indicating the strength of the Netwealth product, and the high regard that they were held in!

They have come through the GFC stronger than when they first entered.

IMO they are as safe as any industry superfund out there
