Just further to your comment BugGold:

The Australian Super system at this stage really isn't even worth calling a 'share trading platform'.

There is no market depth or anything of the sort.

All you do to execute a trade is ask for 500 RIO shares (for example) and your order will be executed on the following Monday.

You are given a receipt number and thats it.

You have no control over the price of the order - you are simply given Australian Super's average price for their Monday of trading.

A few days later after they have settled the transactions you will find your 500 shares appear in your account and you then find out what price you got them for!

    Its like waiting for Christmas!!

Selling works in the same way.

Well thats just for your info - if they upgrade the system all well and good - but until they do thats how it works.

    Cheers

    Hevlet
