im looking into making a self managed super fund and wondering if the annual government fees is considered a rort ? its the government initiative to force us into putting aside money for our retirement and become less reliant on government handouts but the government collects annual fees from this. is this considered a rort ? Everything is computerised, theres no paperwork and the internet expediates lodgement and convinience. Computer AI can do work for free..... why the exorbitent fees ??? whose wages are the fees used for ? does computers get paid a monthly wage ? so self manage funds , expect to pay $ 1578 a year on fees for your retirement, if i'm 20 years old, and by the time i'm 70, i would have paid $78,900 in fees !!!
