Agree with (AUSJPN), how can there be any planning for anything until this tax is finalised. It would be irresponsible by any company directors to push ahead with any new projects until this legislation is clear to the miners. The details of this tax is potentially at least 6/12 months off(going by the way of other legislation eg. ETS) so the uncertainty in the meantime is not going to help anyone especially the miners with big plans. They may have to wait 12 months before they push on with their projects. Being an election year maybe we won't need to worry. One of the reasons rudd got in was the scrapping of work choices, this maybe abbott's election winner.
