Relate that to buying a stock or leveraged position?
Usually if one buys a stock with any level of fear - one usually gets done like a dinner.
Real estate is NOT like stocks etc. where you can dip your toe in first to test the temperature.
For most, any real estate purchase is major. IMO, these people are being told something by their fear - and they are ignoring the signs.
IMO they are very brave or more like very stupid and either way, reckless. I hope they are ok, but, if the observation is accurate, I suspect not.
