    The Socialism line is as you say a Thatcher quote. 


    Venezuela's social experiment exemplifies Thatcher's saying.  They have indeed run out of other people's money and the people are suffering.  Which naturally leads to the other saying regarding socialism being the equal sharing of misery.  Though that one may not be true.  I understand the poor people in Venezuela are suffering immensely to the point of starving and having to flee the country, while the powerful socialists there are suffering by having to take a smaller cut of the State oil company proceeds - mainly because they ran it into the ground.


    I am relatively certain the Capitalism line can definitely be attributed to boomer.  I am not aware of any actual examples that bear out this proposition. Maybe it doesn't hold.
