Maverich ,it has already been proven that none of the profits from BHP ,Rio or Xstrata have gone offshore . It is a lie perpetuated by people with an agenda to mislead .
In fact Xstrata has ploughed $1bn more than they have made profits .
Mining investment in Australia is generating jobs for Australians .
Take it away and Australians will be another third world country .
This tax will destroy the Australian lifestyle as we know it .
If we dont mine ,what will we do ?
The alternatives are things like sweatshops ,Serving wealthy foreigners in service industries ,polluting manufacturing industries ,like they have in China .
Many mining jobs are not just in mining .
Many are in excellent fields like engineering .
We dont want to lose that .The lifestyle all Australians enjoy today comes from mining ,and mining alone .
Many dumb Australians will be duped by Rudd .
Lets hope there are more intelligent Australians than dumb ones around at the next election .
