The average wage earner sees almost 10% of his wages put in Super each week and that money never returns to his area . Over the last 20 years this has been happening and now most of Australia is really struggling to maintain their communities . The one thousand dollar grant given each person by the Rudd Government believed this prevented a recession in Australia . Imagine what $1,500,000,000 that is now in Super would do if was spread back throughout Australia . Sadly most of this money will go to the top 20% of the high earners who accumulate enough money for life without Super and the lower end through no fault of their own will always see low wages and part time work with no ability to save money or value in Super. Surely as a Nation we can do better than this .
