My situation is another example. I have a SMSF in the pension stage and so in this financial year wanted to keep my pension withdrawals down to the minimum. I had need for additional money so borowed for 2 months. I will pay it back early July (by selling some shares) when the fund becomes tax-free.That way I have avoided paying 30% (45-15) tax.I am sure that there will be an outflow of super fund monies in first couple of weeks in July, many retirees avoiding unneccessary expenditure till then.
