Establishing the fund, in my case, was done by my accountant who did all the paperwork.
Depending on the number of trades it is just a matter of recording them (excel spreadsheet), filing your contract notes and at the end of year submitting these with end of year statement to your accountant for checking and auditing.
My average accountant/audit cost since establishing the fund is about $2,500.
If you intend to set up a SMSF, talk to your accountant for advice which best suits your requirements.
