after investigating a post on HC i ended up setting up a smsf through esuperfund

now have the bulk of my super sat in gold equities and am ready to switch to bullion if the much talked about gfc v2 comes along (trigger finger has been getting increasingly itchy - when AUD gold dipped to $1,120 would have been a strong time in hindsight).. am fairly confident that my gains would have far outweighed my last super fund since setting it up in July

its a little bit more in fees than i was originally paying, but since i was able to roll my other half's super in also it doesn't work out that much more expensive combined - plus any money that i lose i lose myself, which i can live with
