Mate, I feel your pain as I took a decent loss when rolling over but decided to look at it from a risk/reward and a 'what position will this put me in' perspective. It's certainly more work (although not a great deal), but it has given me more options. Even after I did a heap of research, I still couldn't figure out all of the rules AusSuper had in place regarding holdings and it drove me nuts as I see super as my money and I don't intend for the govt (or anyone else) to secure me financially.

Don't get me wrong, not everything went to plan and my timing was potentially the worst in the world, but I am happy to take full responsibility for it.
