Is where I have a serious problem with shorting. If you own stocks and the market is dropping no way would you lend those shares out for shorting. However super funds do not care if the value of the shares drop as they earn their income from commissions..and lending shares for shorting earns a fee, So they get richer while their customer gets poorer.
Criminal, not only to thier customers but to anyone who owns stocks they lend out stock to short.
