billionaire carlos slim re: mexican order

Carlos Slim is the worlds third richest man, was recently in the no.1 spot.

He recently topped the list as the richest man in the world- at approx. $USD 60 billion - and guess where he is from - MEXICO! ( I think he has dropped to third now - poor bugger!)

Slim's wealth is equal to roughly 7% of Mexico's annual economic output! He makes $27million USD per day!

He is the head of the Latin America Development Fund, which among other things provides money for health programs. He is a massive philanthropist - His coffers are full and his foundations are budgeted to spend over $10 billion USD in the next few years.

I think that the huge drug problem in mexico is being tackled by his foundations at the behest of the Mexican govt. What better program to invest in the future of the country than to clean up the drug problem in schools in Mexico!

My belief is that with him involved in this foundation pushing for better education and health in Mexico that Mexico will put in large ongoing orders for oraline IV

I believe this is where the mexico deal originated - from his foundation. If so, there will be a huge announcement giving the dollar value of the deal soon, and that is sparking interest at the moment. At least we know Mexico can afford it now with him behind the push. Remeber Mexico has one of the higher populations in the world at over 100 million people, and the market for these devices is huge there. The word is that the deal is happening very quickly as the funds are ready to be put towrds this drug problem, and Slim is a very aggressive anti drug/health/education advocate.

All makes good sense. I think Mexico deal alone will be huge for this company, and very very close to finding out dollar value of it.

He has made his fortune in telecommunications and having a very keen eye for investing in stocks that shoot up. He has done it with apple and many other comapnies that almost always go up after he buys(maybe due in some part to his price making abilities as a huge buyer of stock as well) But his success in share purchases over the years have been astounding, and he knows how to pick em!

So another thing to look out for - check the register in the next few weeks for Spanish sounding company names perhaps- maybe he is taking a stake as well???

Any connection with this guy would be gold for HGR, lets just hope that this is the case, as I believe it is.
