Agreed, it doesn't really make sense, the only thing i can imagine is their investors demanded some returns, so thus the dividend payout, then the Superhero acquisition happened really fast and they are now hit by a double whammy, really low trading volumes on Crypto and Superhero also dragging them down, also having low trading volumes and a making a loss on every trade, all combined to mean they suddenly need a cash injection.
It doesn't sound very well thought out, except moving their move to reduce this risk exposure by putting most of their clients money back into low risk arrangements.
