A later deal would likely have some advantage given the current state of the market where given the latest trial data this stock is seriously undervalued..like a lot of other stocks. Probably not out of the question that a low ball takeover offer comes out of the woodwork....at the other extreme it's remotely possible that a bidding war between a couple of the big pharma could develop....just dreaming here! Pretty confident either way that if I keep this stock in the bottom draw I'll eventually earn a handsome return.
ABN AMRO latest analyst report indicated it thought Avexa would need about 85m to fully fund it's phase III trial. The great thing here is Avexa still has a substantial cash backing and is not in any immediate need to raise monies which means it can really deal with things on it's terms rather than be forced to sell the farm for a song
