Dumbess and blatant hypocrisy (those two traits are often mutually inclusive, I've observed).
Yesterday he was all about referencing media outlets which were ostensibly running with a certain narrative.
Today, when he is presented with a media source carrying the exact opposite narrative, his position suddenly becomes:
"Oooh. No, ignore that media report; we need to wait to hear what the inquiry concludes."
