What about Mr Kabunga's role in the company? He is the largest single shareholder in the company, he was born in Tanzania, he's the non executive CEO of Volt Resources, and he supposedly has a number of contacts in the government, the mines department and the mining industry in Tanzania!

It has been mentioned in the past that Mr Kabunga has contacts in the government and the mines department. And this thought also pervades to some extent amongst stock brokers and investors.

The question is: With such contacts is Mr Kabunga able to present Volt's plans for mining in a legal and favourable way to the Tanzanian government, along with TM? If the company has done its due diligence correctly, the issues with moving the local population and the environment impact statement etc. are all acceptable, then Mr Kabunga's role in convincing the government to grant the mining licence should assist Volt in gaining this licence??

Let’s hope that there are some good announcements from Volt ASAP!!
