Market Flooding.
Indonesia China and India are increasig coal mining at record rates. Africa will evenually play a larger part of the picture which will flood the coal market and bring down the coal price to record lows. Coal had a real boom , which is often followed by a flooded market because boom periods often result in over expansion of production.
In 2024, coal production reached significant 7.28% increase on production
2022 to 2025 80% fall in price
2824 to 2025 30% fall in price
Much of the coal rise occured after covid, which leads me to believe coal should fall back around 50 usd ton over 24 months.
I believe the share price will fall to $2, they might have to resconsider expansion.
