A correction on a strong rising trend can be safely dollar cost averaged if the spike down continues lower.
The only time to be stopped out is if price collapes to new low after the bounce. And this is very rare.
My aim is to have as much cash in my account as possible. Therefore I aim to hold stocks as little as possible.
