But there is one concerning factors which is in golds favor and that is the relationship between interest rates and inflaton.
The fact that interest rates are virtually 0% and the only way to control inflation is by increasing interest rates which the US will not do as it would lead to a series of devastating defaults.
The US will not control inflation if it means jobs been created.
Hence why gold will go upwards.
