You buy three cars.
#1 only works on sunny days.
#2 only works on windy days.
#3 only works on leftover power from #1 and #2.
#4 is my car - you rent it 2 days per week in summer, 5 days per week in winter.

You have three times the carrying capacity - but you still borrow my car every week.
Because your cars are all terribly unreliable.Their "capacity" is worthless most of the time.
