Ok Solar attracts very large subsidies. "So what?" Shouldn't everyone take advantage of government stupidity if they can do so to their own advantage?
Ok. In Converting electricity to hydrogen when electricity is in excess and is free and converting it back to electricity, when electricity
wastes 48% of the energy. Once again I ask "So what? Aren't you gaining something of value out of something worth nothing.
Sure, I agree that currently pumped hydro is more efficient but where is it and what is its capital cost.
As an adjunct I have heard that one of the universities in Sydney is looking at an elecrolyser with 95% efficiency. Will they be able to
make it commercial? Who knows?
