Thepinto sums it up best in his post IMHO. The only reason I can come up with that some here would rather MPO keep all the money and look for new investments is the desire to speculate that MPO can hit a winner to recoup losses you have on paper in MPO stock. This is not a rational reason. You are probably better off getting as much back via a capital return, then punting the money on speculative stocks yourself to try and recoup losses made in MPO.
