I buy local in my home town, if they offer me good service at at least try to compete.
My opinion just states that before trying to change the law, just lift your game.
I have been in small business where big competitors moved in next door, I just met the market and offered new improved services and kept my profits a little lower, realising I couldnt ride the high and dominate the market forever!
There is always competition around the corner and Gerry just has to keep competing. He will only lose a %age of his customer. I know very few people that are willing to buy online or buy sight unseen. I know many people without the confidence to research goods online.
Improve and compete, dont ask for the rules to change to keep you in the top money making bracket.
