This is in many ways a similar experience. There is the knowledge of the inevitability of the announcement, but uncertainty as to the timing. There is the same nervous concern about the outcome.

The difference was with the kids, that I didn't have a bunch of naysayers around all telling me what a loser my kid was going to turn out to be - if he made it out of the delivery room alive at all.
