JCoure, your point seems a little disingenuous. Commercial jet aircraft operate at around 30-36,000 feet where the OAT (outside air temperature) is around -55-60°C. We know that Boeing Airlines (BA) and DAL (Delta Airlines) have rigorously and exhaustively tested CVM and it is possible CVM has been tested at much higher altitudes in military aircraft. Sure, CVM hasn't been tested for every conceivable condition on (or off) the planet, but I'm sure the same is true of most other related, commercially available tech.

This is absolutely spot on. SMN initial patent holds that this works for fluid flow. I.e pressure or vacuum. It doesn't take much physics to work out that regardless of external pressures there would be a detectable flow across an impedance... which is the crux of this technology. Material for use in hazardous environments are already a known. We have put a man on the moon and I believe that there has been some advancements since then.
