    Just cant agree Denben,as I posted some weeks ago the co-alition guy on 6pr said(I'm paraphrasing),we tied subsidies to productivety,so the co-alition did and would only provide the international car manufacturers with Australian taxpayers money,on the basis,they made money,IMHO totally illogical,if their so profit oreinted,why do they need our money.

    Between the two major partys were throwing 3 billion dollars at a federal level,I'm sure the local states will be up to their collective heads in it as well.
    This is just way ludicrous for a pathetic 100 thousand cars exported from Australia.

    There must be a more reasoned and financialy sound way to promote and encourage work for Australians,the fact that the yanks like subsidising car manufacturers is not a good enough reason to continue this madness.
