I think we need to stop manufacturing everyday high volume items and start manufacturing stuff that has a high barrier to entry
or maybe have one or two Nokias that carry the whole country
you would have thought with 3 billion to spend on automotive we could have ploughed that into R&D and built a car the whole world was falling over themselves to buy
i dare say it ultimately went into pumping up wages, nothing else
end result, so so crappy cars nobody wants
