MEL kept having a crack at the 18c level however everytime the cavalry came to the rescue. Now that the seller is 18c and buyer 17.5c, it will be interesting to see if the big whigs come in to support. I think they may leave it until 17c this time.
Once it cracks below 18c it will likely lose price quickly as some true believers may themselves start to jump ship.
Where it finishes today will give a good indication of where it goes next week. Overseas markets will start to come off again next week I think, this will drag our markets back down again.
At the moment, the lower end of town seems to be a steer clear story. Risk of any sort is no longer pretty in this market.
