A sane look at how prices progress, and one which should be lesson number 1 for anyone who intends to be a trader. Many on here and other forums tend to be very impatient, unrealistic, panicky, and impressionable. There is so much ramping up and down, so many wild guesses out of the blue about what stock will reach which price and when, that naive would-be traders easily fall into the traps of over-trading and following the crowd on the forum.
Much better just quietly finding stocks that are already in an established uptrend instead of trying to pick the bottom, then riding the trend until the real bend at the end, not the short-term pullbacks that happen along every uptrend. Trade to your own plan, not the HotCopper Crowd Plan.
General advice, I know, and totally unrequested, but Marchell0's post prompted the thoughts. But, as usual, each to their own :)
