Hardcurrency, I don't think it is right to blame manipulation every time a stock moves against the way you expect. That is the nature of the stock market.
My feeling is that ALD is being marked down harshly because of its hedge book, small as it is or more likely, I now accept that there is probably some problems with the startup at the mine that is limiting production - teething problems or lower than expected ore grades. It is not something that the company is going to shout from the roof tops but some kind of announcement to keep holders informed would be helpful. The current share price seems low compared to the business at hand as we know it from previous announcements. I am not selling but then again I am not buying either. If you believe in the business and also that the stock is manipulated, buy buy buy because it will find its correct level one day as surely this is the ultimate goal of those dastardly manipulators.
