The paper the tobacco is rolled in makes them breathe and burn quicker. Hold a cigarette paper in the sun and you can see the holes. I use to get these funny Rizzla cigarette papers from Hawaii that had really small holes and heaps of them. I think they are called slow burners. I guess they have designed the filter to burn the tobacco faster too. My old man use to smoke Log Cabin Ready Rub in a yellow tin with a picture in red of a log cabin on it. I use to walk around the corner when I was 5 and get him a tin of tobacco.It seems like yesterday. He gave up smoking and lived to 84.
