They (govt) have no idea

Swan's catchy phrase on surplus is just that.

Its there own undoing, but Labor are fast squeezing themselves into a corner, with first a promise that they are good economic managers, and have suggested they will return budget to surplus( which re pays no debt), however it was there catch phrase in 08 which worries me. " no one could see the magnitude of of GFC"
So by the last statement how on earth have they projected forward the economic view situation into 2012, which was the very thing they walked away from in 08, relying on budget coffers and wreckless spending to grab a ribbon for no recession. Now wasn't it one of there better leaders who suggested a recession every now and then isn't so bad ??

So have a little think about how we spent our way from having a recession, and give me a firm reason why this might come back to bite in the years leading to 2013.

Until then I would be very wary singing there praises.
