hello all,

not really sure if this comment belongs here but it sorta fits in with the theme of the last couple of posts so here i go...

i've decided to "spring clean" my portfolio. it's way too burdened by crap stocks going nowhere. the problem is that for a long time i didn't want to sell at a loss. i figured that since i didn't really need the liquidity i could just keep the stocks and hope that sometime in the future they might wake up and appreciate.

BUT, then i realised that it doesn't matter that i don't need the liquidity. it still makes more sense to sell the duds (at a loss) and put the money into stocks that i think will perform a little (SIGNIFICANTLY!!!!!) better.

so, here's to spring cleaning my portfolio!! cheers!
