Surat to Gladstone Pipeline Project Application for approval as an Infrastructure Facility of Significance.
The Coordinator General has received an application from the Surat Gladstone Pipeline Pty Ltd (SGP) to have that project approved as an Infrastructure Facility of Significance.
SGP is proposing a 466 km long buried high pressure steel pipeline to deliver coal seam gas from Arrow Energy's gas fields near Dalby to a liquefied natural gas plant currently under construction at Fishermens Landing, Gladstone.
SGP wishes to acquire all land (or easements) necessary and desirable for the planning, construction and maintenance of the facility by consultation and agreement with relevant Landholders and Native Title Parties.
..Makes one wonder how many holdups there could be; but maybe if this is granted they will be reduced.
