Of course, any runaway price action will quickly be met with Chinese intervention, however if I'm invested in coal now, I'm happier than I've ever been. Of course, I'm sure our NZ friends have also made note of this decision and the future of the escarpment looks bleaker. I'm hoping the recent off-market share sale has helped the current share register in the eyes of potential investors. I think the initial share buyback target had an average price well above what has currently been paid, so might try to hang out for the sales that will bring it to average. I'd make sure our boats are carrying NZ stickers too.
