I wasn't suggesting the companies (KZL in this case) were in any way to blame. It's the ruthless institutions demanding stock at huge discounts and the banks refusing loans causing retails clients to lose out. The banks seem (to me) to have decided that it's better to buy companies at a fraction of their real value rather than lend them money. The companies have no choice, the gun at their head is loaded, and yes I'd rather they stayed solvent.
You might be surprised at how much extra retail shareholders would have kicked in at 60c if asked.
