Jumpstart ! What you say is partially correct - CDU has asked for 3 extensions to their response to submissions for the EIS so In effect they have added an additional 3 or 4 months to the process.

But what Royboy is in effect saying is that it takes 2 to 3 years longer to obtain a M.L in Qld as opposed to W.A.

If you care to look at the DERM website and look at the finalised EIS for the Exco Cloncurry Copper project you will see that they still do not have their M.L issued ( that no doubt will be expedited now that the Xmen are going to buy it ) However the timelines and delays experienced by Exco as are the other 20 or so QLD mining EIS applications that are currently bogged down in Nana's red tape.
